Ministry Team

The Ministry Team oversees Grant Park’s various ministries, including but not limited to: worship, social events and gatherings, community engagement (service, advocacy, and witness), children’s ministry, and education. While some members may oversee a specific ministry, as a team they work together to bring a sense of cohesion to Grant Park’s ministries as a whole.

Pastoral Relations Committee

The Pastoral Relations Committee (PRC) meets regularly with the pastor to offer support and feedback, including overseeing the pastor's yearly review. They also serve as a liaison between the pastor and the church. Should any concerns or conflicts arise between the pastor and the congregation, the PRC would step in to mediate.

Houseless Ministry Committee

The Houseless Ministry Committee (HMC) leads the church in its ministry to our houseless neighbors, primarily through our partnership with Family Promise, a rotating shelter program. As one of thirteen host congregations with Family Promise, Grant Park has committed to hosting houseless families for one week every three months. The HMC maintains our connection with Family Promise, recruits volunteers, and oversees planning and preparation.

Building and Grounds Committee

Grant Park is blessed with a beautiful building, and the Building Committee is charged with its maintenance and upkeep. They oversee any new projects that take place in the building, and serve as the contact for the various tenants who also call our building home.
