Juneteenth Festival Oregon

  • Lillis-Albina Park 300 North Russell Street Portland, OR, 97227 United States (map)

As our African American neighbors come together to remember, honor, and testify to history, to celebrate culture, resilience, and hope, and to commemorate the day where the final population of enslaved individuals in Texas were made aware of their freedom, we join in remembering, honoring, and celebrating.

June 19th marks the day each year — Juneteenth — when people all across the United States gather to remember this history, to celebrate one another and each other’s cultural intersections, and to form connections with others while having a wonderful time together! Music, food, speakers and information, and a kids area are all part of the plan.
